After 60 hours of relentless efforts by the whole "Come on Baby!" team during the "THE Port" hackathon, the new incubator prototype was presented to the public last Sunday. It features many unique aspects, like a hemisphrical hood that makes surveillance and access to the newborn easier, a mattress that can change shape to allow the baby to take an ergonomic position, a phototherapy umbrella, or a protection cover that stimulates the newborn's visual system while reducing heat losses.
This hackathon produced dozens of ideas, from the most crazy to the most serious ones. They will now be explored in more depth by the whole alliance. Funding of this project remains a crucial issue, but we are happy to benefit already from the wonderful energy of this weekend to continue our journey! Thanks everyone!
